ANKARA - AKP President Tayyip Erdogan announced that he declared a state of emergency in 12 cities.

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan declared a state of emergency (OHAL) for 3 months in 10 cities that suffered heavy destruction due to earthquakes in Mereş and Dilok (Antep).

 

Declaring a state of emergency in his statement, Tayyip Erdoğan said, “We are declaring 10 provinces where the earthquake occurred as disaster zones. We are declaring a state of emergency that will cover these 10 provinces and will last for 3 months. In this process, we will quickly complete the work of the Assembly."
