Balance sheet of earthquake in Syria

NEWS CENTER - The number of people who lost their lives in the region in the earthquake that took place in Mereş and caused heavy destruction in Syrian cities increased to 3 thousand 694.
 
Earthquakes with magnitudes of 7.7 and 7.6 in Mereş on 6 February also had a heavy impact on Syrian cities. The earthquake, in which tens of thousands of people lost their lives in the cities of Kurdistan and Turkey, also caused deaths in Syria. Hawar News Agency (ANHA) reported that 2 thousand 274 people lost their lives and 12 thousand 400 people were injured in these regions, based on the data it received from the regions occupied by the Turkish state and its mercenaries. There are thousands of people in the region waiting to be rescued under the rubble.
 
Regime-administered regions
 
According to Hesen El Habas, Minister of Health of the Damascus government, 1,414 people died in the earthquake and 2,357 people were injured. These data only cover areas under the control of the Damascus government.
 
According to the Autonomous Administration Health Board, 6 people lost their lives and 57 people were injured in Northern and Eastern Syria.
