TJA activist Zeynep Boğa detained

ANKARA - TJA activist Zeynep Boğa was detained as part of the Ankara-based investigation.
 
 As part of the investigation carried out by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against Tevgera Jinên Azad (TJA) with the allegation of "terrorist leader", "organization member", "terrorist propaganda" and "providing funding for the organization", 57 houses in 14 cities were raided yesterday. In the investigation, which has a detention order for 50 women, 15 women were detained yesterday.
 
TJA activist Zeynep Boğa was also detained during house raids in Amed. Along with Zeynep, 16 women were detained as part of the investigation.
 
The detained women are expected to be brought to Ankara, where the investigation is conducted.

As part of the investigation, TJA activists Zeynep Boğa, Figen Ekti, Mekiye Ormancı, Didar Çeşme, Zekiye Güler, Bedia Akkaya, Sultan Esen, Hatice Güngör, Women's Academy member Figen Aras in Amed, Pınar Ceylan and Yeliz Ayyıldız Kıyak in Istanbul, in Izmir D.A. Merve Tekin Demirel in Muş and Hazal Aras in Agirî were detained.
 
With the decision of the prosecutor's office, a decision of confidentiality and a 24-hour lawyer restriction decision was taken.
